• I offer a free assessment and consultation in person or by phone to talk about your goals, concerns, strengths and challenges, and discuss my services and how we can best work together.
• During the initial session(s), we will determine the focus of the therapy based on the issues you describe, the desired outcomes, your individual and shared intentions, and any underlying issues at play. I’ll offer options on how to proceed, and together we will create a plan for our work together. Research shows that taking the time to come to agreement on goals and methods leads to improved outcomes.
• During weekly or biweekly sessions, we’ll use experiential tools, techniques, and skills to advance your progress toward your goals. Together, we’ll review your progress on a regular basis to help you reach your defined outcomes as quickly as possible.
• Between sessions, we can agree on active and reflective activities to help deepen the skills, experiences, and insights you gain in session.
• Once you have reached your goals or you’re on a path where you can reach them without our sessions, we’ll review and celebrate your accomplishment and determine next steps to help you take what you’ve gained into your life going forward!
